We are looking for an HIS Application Support Specialist to manage the end-to-end support, operations, and continuous improvement of the Hospital Information System, with a primary focus on Inter Systems Trak Care
. The role ensures system stability, performance, and alignment with clinical and business needs, while delivering strong incident support, integration reliability, and continuous service enhancements.
- Lead the administration, support, and optimization of Inter Systems Trak Care
, including core modules such as ADT, Billing, Pharmacy, Orders
, and related clinical workflows, ensuring high availability, performance, and user satisfaction. - Coordinate with Inter Systems and other vendors to resolve issues, manage enhancements, and support effective service delivery.
- Oversee daily HIS operations and manage incidents, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs
. - Manage user roles, configurations, and workflow updates to support ongoing operational needs.
- Manage integrations between Trak Care and external systems such as LIS, RIS, PACS, ERP, and NPHIES
. - Monitor and support interfaces using HL7, FHIR, and APIs
, ensuring secure and accurate data exchange across systems. - Support the SDLC for Trak Care enhancements and releases, including upgrades, patches, and improvements.
- Ensure proper testing, documentation, and change management processes are followed for all system changes.
- Continuously optimize Trak Care usage across clinical and administrative functions by improving workflows, automation, and system efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards,
NPHIES
, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HIS / EMR systems.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Inter Systems Trak Care (mandatory).
- Fluency in Arabic and English (mandatory).
- HL7 / FHIR integration standards
- NPHIES workflows
- ZATCA RCM processes
- HIS integrations (Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology)
- SQL and database fundamentals
- Windows OS and networking fundamentals
