Network & Infrastructure Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Network & Infrastructure Specialist to design, build, secure, and operate our entire network and IT infrastructure. In this hands‑on role you will own the environment end to end – from LAN and WAN architecture, Active Directory and Exchange, and enterprise firewalls, through cloud and hybrid platforms, down to Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure and Commvault backup and recovery.

You will lead the restructuring of our local network in line with ISO standards, act as the go‑to expert whenever a critical incident needs troubleshooting or an application needs access provisioned securely, and work closely with application, security, and business teams to keep our services fast, available, and protected.

• Design, build, and operate local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), including routing and switching, IP addressing, VLAN segmentation, and site‑to‑site connectivity with branches and external entities.
• Lead the restructuring of the existing local network — redesigning topology, cabling, addressing, and segmentation to align with best practices and ISO standards.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory (domains, forests, Group Policy, OU design, replication, trusts) and Microsoft Exchange (mailboxes, mail flow, transport rules, anti‑spam, high availability).
• Design, deploy, and operate workloads on cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent), including hybrid connectivity and identity integration between on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Analyze the infrastructure requirements of business applications and expertly provision the permissions and access rights they need, applying the principle of least privilege and conducting periodic access reviews.
• Act as the organization’s firewall specialist: design and administer next‑generation firewalls (Forti Gate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower), including security policies, NAT, IPS/IDS, web filtering, and secure remote access (VPN).
• Design, implement, and operate enterprise backup and recovery, with strong emphasis on Commvault — backup and storage policies, deduplication, restore testing, and RPO/RTO management.
• Deploy, administer, and optimize Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (Prism, AHV) and virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere / Hyper‑V), including clusters, high availability, and capacity planning.
• Apply and maintain ISO standards — notably ISO/IEC 27001 — across network and infrastructure operations, and support internal and external audits with documentation and evidence.
• Provide advanced (Tier 2/3) troubleshooting for network, systems, cloud, and infrastructure incidents; perform root‑cause analysis and implement durable, permanent fixes.
• Monitor performance and capacity with enterprise tools, manage incidents, problems, and changes in line with ITIL practices, and coordinate with vendors and ISPs on escalations and SLAs.
• Maintain complete, up‑to‑date infrastructure documentation: network diagrams, IP plans, configuration baselines, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network and infrastructure administration.
• Proven ability to design and build LAN and WAN networks end to end — topology design, implementation, and day‑two operation.
