Job Title:

Security Analyst

The Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security systems, identifying potential threats, and developing strategies to protect the organization's assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, as well as experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing security measures. They must also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Monitor security systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
• Implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
• Perform regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
• Collaborate with other teams to address security concerns and implement solutions
• Train employees on proper security practices and procedures

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in information security or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption methods, etc.
• Experience in performing risk assessments and developing risk management plans
• Familiarity with industry regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is preferred but not required

Salary: $1600/month
