Web Developer

Job Purpose:

To update and maintain Fakeeh Care Group websites, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information. The role involves developing creative ideas and concepts, implementing web security measures, and collaborating with the development team to enhance website functionality and user experience.

• Implement ongoing development and updates for Fakeeh Care Group websites
• Assist in developing new look and feel for websites, updating content, and supporting redevelopment efforts
• Identify and resolve web page or server issues promptly
• Review and update web page content and links using appropriate tools
• Monitor systems for intrusions or denial-of-service attacks and report breaches
• Implement website security measures (firewalls, encryption)
• Administer Internet/Intranet infrastructure (web, FTP, news, mail servers)
• Collaborate with development team to resolve usability issues
• Test backup and recovery plans regularly
• Stay updated on web development trends through continuous learning and conferences
• Implement updates, upgrades, and patches to minimize disruptions
• Design, build, and maintain websites using authoring/scripting languages and digital media tools
• Write, design, or edit web page content, or oversee content production
• Confer with management or development team to prioritize needs and resolve conflicts
• Evaluate code for validity, structure, and compatibility with browsers/devices
• Develop front-end and back-end website architecture and applications
• Create servers, databases, and APIs for functionality
• Test software for responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
• Participate in agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
• Collaborate on automation strategies and deployment processes
  
  Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
• Work on automating and improving development/release processes
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job

• Experience:
  
  3–5 years in web development or related role
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Language:
  Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic
• Licenses /
  
  Certifications:
  
  AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Developer (highly desirable)
