DevOps Engineer | First KSA

Position Summary

First KSA is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and accomplished Dev Ops Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure management, containerization, and automated delivery pipelines to join our client delivery team on a full-time basis in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this specialized cloud operations and site reliability role, you will spearhead managing Linux operating environments, building robust CI/CD pipelines, administering Nginx web servers, and ensuring 24/7 system reliability, monitoring, and deployment automation.

You will work closely with software development squads, systems architects, and IT operations teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. Ideal candidates bring a robust academic degree in computer science or engineering, deep practical mastery of Docker, Git, Linux administration, and immediate availability for deployment in Jeddah.

As a Dev Ops Engineer at First KSA in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, you will take full ownership of designing, maintaining, and scaling cloud servers, containerized environments, and deployment automation workflows. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass provisioning and hardening Linux operating systems (Ubuntu/CentOS), configuring Docker container runtimes, authoring CI/CD pipelines, and administering Nginx reverse proxies and SSL certificates. You will implement comprehensive monitoring solutions, track performance telemetry, manage git version control workflows, and handle seamless production deployments.

Working in a fast-paced technology environment supporting construction, engineering, and enterprise operations in KSA, you will drive infrastructure stability and operational efficiency.

• Design, configure, provision, and maintain cloud servers, virtual private servers, and enterprise hosting environments.
• Administer, harden, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian) across cloud platforms.
• Build, manage, and optimize containerized application workflows utilizing Docker and container registries.
• Develop, test, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment execution.
• Configure, optimize, and secure Nginx web servers, reverse proxies, load balancers, and SSL/TLS certificates.
• Administer Git version control repositories, branching strategies, and collaborative code integration workflows.
• Implement comprehensive infrastructure monitoring, log aggregation, and real-time alerting systems for operating environments.
• Collaborate closely with software development squads, systems architects, and IT support teams in Jeddah and KSA.
• Ensure strict adherence to cloud security baselines, data privacy standards, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, infrastructure runbooks, network topology diagrams, and deployment logs.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Dev Ops engineering, cloud infrastructure administration, or site reliability engineering.
• Strong technical mastery of Linux operating system administration, shell scripting, and kernel tuning.
• Proven practical experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and container orchestration fundamentals.
• Solid working knowledge of CI/CD tool chains (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins) and automated deployment pipelines.
• Extensive experience configuring and managing Nginx web servers, reverse proxies, and web traffic routing.
• Proficiency in Git version control workflows and collaborative code repository management.
