Translator

This is a full-time, on-site position. The Translator will work closely with research teams across the Center, providing high-quality translation support for publications, policy briefs, reports, and related materials, while ensuring accuracy, clarity, consistency, and appropriate tone. Given the volume and pace of work, the role requires a candidate who can be fully integrated within the team and responsive to day-to-day translation needs across multiple projects.

• Translate research outputs from English to Arabic and vice versa
• Translate reports, policy briefs, research papers, and institutional materials
• Produce accurate, well-structured, and publication-ready translations aligned with the Center’s institutional voice and terminology standards and policy-sensitive language
• Adapt content appropriately for diverse audiences while maintaining institutional voice
• Coordinate closely with researchers to ensure contextual accuracy
• Provide ongoing translation support for cross-cutting institutional needs
• Maintain consistency in institutional language and formatting standards
• Manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, International Relations, or a related field
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with strong translation and linguistic skills
• Proven experience in English–Arabic translation, preferably within research, policy, or institutional settings
• Experience in editing and proofreading professional content
• Familiarity with research materials, including academic papers, reports, and policy documents
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
• High attention to detail and cultural sensitivity when adapting content
• Ability to work efficiently under time pressure

• Experience translating policy briefs or research publications.
• Experience working in think tanks, research centers, or similar policy-focused environments.
