Responsibilities Logistics Operations Management
  • Lead and manage all logistics operations including inbound, outbound, warehouse, line supply, WIP, inventory control, and customs activities
  • Ensure smooth and efficient material flow from supplier receipt through to production and customer shipment
  • Monitor logistics performance to ensure operational targets, customer delivery requirements, and production support activities are achieved
  • Coordinate logistics activities to support production schedules, launch activities, and operational ramp-up requirements
  • Drive operational discipline, warehouse organization, and logistics process adherence across all shifts
Warehouse, Inventory & Material Flow
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through effective warehouse management, stock control, and material traceability processes
  • Oversee warehouse layout, storage strategies, FIFO compliance, and material presentation standards
  • Monitor inventory levels, shortages, excess stock, and operational risks to support production continuity
  • Ensure efficient line supply and WIP management to minimize production disruptions and downtime
  • Support implementation and optimization of warehouse management systems, scanning solutions, and material handling processes
Customer Delivery & Operational Performance
  • Ensure on-time delivery performance to both internal production customers and external customers
  • Monitor logistics KPIs including OTIF, inventory accuracy, productivity, freight, and operational efficiency
  • Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate with production, planning, purchasing, customs, suppliers, and transport providers to resolve operational issues
  • Support customer audits, launch readiness reviews, and operational reporting activities
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, develop, and manage logistics supervisors, operators, warehouse personnel, and support staff
  • Establish manpower planning, shift structures, training plans, and operational resource allocation
  • Promote a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct performance management, coaching, and development activities for logistics teams
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of local logistics capabilities within the organization
  • Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
    • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, warehouse standards, and operational processes
    • Drive implementation of 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations
    • Support logistics process standardization, cost reduction, and operational optimization activities
    • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, customs regulations, and quality standards
    • Lead investigations and corrective actions relating to logistics operational issues or incidents
Systems & Reporting
  • Ensure accurate ERP/WMS transactions, logistics documentation, and inventory reporting
  • Develop and monitor logistics dashboards, KPI tracking, and operational reporting structures
  • Support implementation of logistics systems, digitalization initiatives, and process improvements
  • Prepare operational updates and performance reports for management review
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience within automotive logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
  • Previous leadership experience managing logistics teams within manufacturing or automotive environments
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, inventory management, customs, and production support logistics
  • Strong ERP, warehouse management system, and logistics process knowledge
  • Experience with in greenfield, plant launch, or start-up operations advantageous
  • Experience working within high-volume manufacturing and fast-paced operational environments preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and operational management abilities
  • Strong understanding of logistics, warehouse, and supply chain operations; attention to detail with a strong focus on operational discipline and inventory accuracy; ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced manufacturing environments; strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
