KSA plays a key and strategic role in Arabia growth. It requires a logistics ecosystem that has a high edge model of agility and efficiency considering complexity of relatively high size portfolio with different type of operations and customers' behaviors.

JOB PURPOSE

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing import operations, customs clearance activities, and regulatory compliance to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods. The role coordinates with government authorities, customs brokers, logistics service providers, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless import processes and adherence to all applicable regulations.

Scope

Manage and monitor import shipment performance to ensure timely and efficient clearance. Ensure all required documentation, registrations, permits, triangulation invoice requirements, and pre-approvals are obtained prior to shipment arrival to avoid delays, demurrage, and detention charges. Coordinate the timely delivery of imported goods to designated warehouses. Manage regulatory compliance activities, including SFDA registrations, SASO certifications, customs exemptions, and other government-related requirements.

Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across import and clearance activities.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
  • Manage import shipment costs, payments, deliveries, and system registrations.
  • Coordinate with government authorities to secure approvals and resolve regulatory matters.
  • Execute customs clearance activities and ensure all required documentation is in place before shipment arrival.
  • Manage triangulation invoice requirements and ensure compliance with customs regulations to facilitate smooth clearance processes.
  • Manage customs exemptions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure capacity availability and timely receipt of imported goods.
  • Monitor and manage third-party service providers to ensure operational efficiency and service compliance.
  • Drive initiatives to improve clearance lead times and optimize import operations.
  • Follow up on empty container returns to minimize detention and related costs.
  • Maintain compliance with SFDA, SASO (Saber), Customs, and other applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end import operations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Experiences & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, import operations, customs clearance, and government relations.
  • Experience dealing with Saudi regulatory authorities, including SFDA, SASO (Saber), and ZATCA.
  • Strong understanding of customs procedures, freight forwarding, and import compliance requirements.
Skills
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of import operations, customs clearance, and logistics processes.
  • Good understanding of SFDA, SASO, ZATCA Customs requirements, and Saudi regulatory frameworks.
