Role OverviewPurchase Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating international purchasing activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of products from overseas suppliers. The role will involve supplier coordination, purchase order management, quotation evaluation, order tracking, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure purchasing requirements are fulfilled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end international purchasing and procurement activities.
- Source and coordinate purchases from international suppliers.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and reliability.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery terms.
- Request and evaluate supplier quotations and support commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate with international suppliers regarding quotations, orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor purchase orders and follow up on outstanding shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements and ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and procurement reports.
- Support the procurement team in maintaining strong supplier relationships and achieving cost-effective purchasing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Hands-on experience in international purchasing and dealing with overseas suppliers.
- Experience handling purchase orders, supplier coordination, quotations, and international shipments.
- Experience in purchasing medical products is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of purchasing processes and documentation.
- Strong international procurement and supplier management skills.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluent in English, particularly for communication with international suppliers.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
