strategic role in Arabia growth. It requires a logistics ecosystem that has a high edge model of agility and efficiency considering complexity of relatively high size portfolio with different type of operations and customers' behaviors.

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing import operations, customs clearance activities, and regulatory compliance to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods. The role coordinates with government authorities, customs brokers, logistics service providers, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless import processes and adherence to all applicable regulations.
JobScope
- Coordinate and monitor import shipment activities to support timely and efficient customs clearance.
- Ensure all required documentation, registrations, permits, triangulation invoice requirements, and pre-approvals are completed before shipment arrival.
- Coordinate the delivery of imported goods to designated warehouses.
- Support regulatory compliance activities, including SFDA registrations, SASO certifications, customs exemptions, and other government-related requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support operational excellence initiatives.
- Coordinate import shipment activities, including shipment tracking, cost monitoring, payments, and system registrations.
- Liaise with government authorities and customs brokers to obtain required approvals and resolve clearance-related issues.
- Prepare and review customs clearance documentation to ensure compliance and smooth shipment processing.
- Coordinate triangulation invoice requirements and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Support customs exemption applications and maintain related documentation and records.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure readiness and timely receipt of imported goods.
- Monitor logistics service providers' performance and elevate operational issues when required.
- Track clearance lead times and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Follow up on empty container returns to avoid detention charges and unnecessary costs.
- Ensure compliance with SFDA, SASO, ZATCA Customs, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipment, clearance, and compliance records in company systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth end-to-end import operations.
- Support reporting activities by providing logistics performance data and KPI analysis.
- Assist in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing logistics and import operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, import operations, customs clearance, freight forwarding, supply chain, or government relations.
- Experience in Saudi regulatory authorities and systems (SFDA, SASO, and ZATCA) is preferred.
- Good understanding of customs clearance procedures, import documentation, freight forwarding, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI are an advantage.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of import operations, customs clearance, and logistics processes.
- Good understanding of SFDA, SASO, ZATCA Customs requirements, and Saudi regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
