Purchasing Officer

We are looking for an experienced MRO Purchasing Officer to manage the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations materials, industrial spare parts, tools, and consumables required for our cable manufacturing operations.

• Manage end-to-end purchasing of MRO materials and industrial spare parts for plant operations.
• Source suppliers for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and maintenance items.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations based on price, quality, specifications, availability, and lead time.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable payment and delivery terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery.
• Follow up on urgent and critical spare parts to minimize production downtime.
• Identify alternative suppliers and equivalent parts to improve availability and reduce procurement costs.
• Monitor pending orders, delivery schedules, shortages, and supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, RFQs, quotations, and POs.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field from a reputable university in Saudi Arabia.

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Good experience in buying spare parts and tools.
• Experience working with industrial end users.
• Priority will be given to candidates with strong Saudi-market MRO procurement experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
