The OpportunityAs a Sr. Associate, Logistics & Freight Management, you will support transportation, customs compliance, and distribution activities for Alcon's Saudi Distribution Center. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance processes, logistics service providers, and distribution operations to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient product delivery across Saudi Arabia. You will also support transportation projects across GEM region (mainly Middle East, North Africa).
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities and monitor shipment execution.
- Manage customs clearance documentation and act as the key contact with customs authorities using FASAH/ZATCA.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure operational continuity.
- Support NUPCO shipment processes, including ASN bookings and Goods Receipt Management.
- Track deliveries, resolve logistics issues, and manage customer-specific distribution requirements.
- Review freight invoices, validate costs, and follow up on discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with GxP regulations, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of Saudi customs procedures and import/export documentation.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Familiarity with FASAH/ZATCA systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
