Maintenance Shift Automation Technician

Works on equipment maintenance including breakdown maintenance. Maintain the machines as per AM/PM logs, ensure proper equipment work during the shift and correct anomalies in case of breakdown. Perform preventive and corrective activities at equipment according to maintenance plans under the supervision of the Maintenance Engineer.

• Follow production safety rules and work according to existing procedures/standards.
• Receive and sort spare parts, consumables/supplies as per SOP and 5S standards.
• Participate in regular preventive maintenance.
• Maintain MDM request; based on requests update equipment tree in SAP.
• Work according to existing procedures/standards and maintenance process.
• Attend to breakdowns onsite, ensuring rapid response and that plant equipment and machine breakdown time is minimized.
• Participate as a member in maintenance improvement teams.

• Technical diploma in engineering/maintenance.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance/spare parts.
• SAP basic knowledge.
• WCM skills for breakdown/anomaly analysis.
• Experience and skills in identifying root cause and developing countermeasures to address machine technical knowledge.
• Production process knowledge preferred.

• Participate in regular preventive maintenance.
• Minimize losses (short stops/breakdowns) on machine/equipment, keep mean downtime targets.
• Guide colleagues with AM/PM and removing red tags.
• Report all activities in SAP, plant maintenance module and resolve all reported problems as per plan.
• Maintain the maintenance spare parts store.
• Achieve preventive activities TBM (time-based maintenance) compliance ratio and targets.
• 5S according to standard in all maintenance areas.
