Cold store Supervisor

The role Cold Store Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the Warehouse and Inventory operations including,

• Receiving of goods
• Products put away with location mapping
• Shipment preparations
• Picking and compiling Orders
• Loading containers/trucks
• Paperwork approvals
• Product replenishment
• Inventory management
• Following and training of relevant SOP’s

These operations are critical to the operating success of NAQUA and the Cold store Supervisor is expected to manage and maintain all systems and processes which ensure the Cold store activities meets the highest quality and hygiene standards and are conducted in line with the relevant SOP’s. It is an integral requirement of the role that the Cold store Supervisor has an understanding of the operability of certification systems and in particular, HACCP, ISO
22000, and BRC as well as all relevant issues concerning the warehousing Process.

Skills

Preference will be given to Saudi nationals.

• Supervise work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly
• Verification of warehouse machinery and equipment efficiency status, issuing work orders for repair to ensure the availability for smooth warehouse operations.
• Schedule the accurate and timely replenishment of stock to utilize the maximum storage.
• Oversee all warehouse-related functions/processes (receiving, put away, picking, loading, replenishment, inventory management) and transactions.
• Set operational KPIs for the Cold store staff, evaluate their performance and appraisal to the management
• Coordination with the external Cold store operation team and ensure to achieve the targets
• Ensure staff comply with health, safety and environmental regulations and work safely to protect themselves and others in the warehouse environment, wearing all appropriate PPE.
• Produce regular reports and statistics as and when required.
• Initiate and maintain proper and necessary safety and fire prevention equipment within the warehouse as prescribed by company policy.
• Support Cold store manager to train and mentor a workforce, to improve retention and productivity.
