The Vice President Finance and Administration’s primary purpose is to be the senior executive accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of the following functions within Midana Exploration Company (MEC) and, where appropriate, related KSA entities:
Finance and Commercial (CFO), Procurement, HR (recruitment, onboarding, payroll, visas), Legal, Corporate Governance and Government Compliance Reporting, and Office Administration.

The role will focus on supporting the rapid establishment of exploration and operating mining assets in KSA, through input to corporate functions enabling target identification, and rapidly undertaking studies and projects to deliver high-value operational assets. This role is based in Jeddah, with the expectation of business travel to both Riyadh, other JV offices throughout KSA and Australia.

• Direct and oversee all finance and commercial functions of MEC and related KSA entities in a capacity analogous to a CFO
• Ensure all finance reporting to the MEC Board and related KSA entities is accurate and timely, consistent with corporate and government reporting obligations
• Ensure MEC treasury function is maintained to support the technical/commercial objectives of MEC and related KSA entities
• In coordination with the VP Studies and Projects, accountability for the development and management of MEC’s consolidated operating and capital budget

• Direct and oversee the efficient and effective delivery of HR functions to all KSA entities including recruitment, onboarding, policies and procedures related to HR, payroll, leave, travel, immigration and employee benefits management, visa and government portal management
• Ensure effective policies and procedures are in place to both attract and retain high-quality human resources into the company including all onboarding activities
• Manage MEC Saudization obligations in line with government regulation and corporate objectives
• Ensure the MEC organizational structure is efficient and effective and recruitment plans are aligned with the Company’s growth stages and projects in the Kingdom
• Establish effective frameworks for performance management, leadership development, succession planning, compensation and benefits, ensuring the development of national capabilities and the retention of talent required to achieve the Company’s strategic objectives

• Develop and oversee MEC’s procurement function including policies and procedures ensuring MEC receives optimized value for all goods and services via strategic sourcing approach and leveraging the procurement power of HPPL where appropriate.
