Logistic & Operation Manger

Manage and coordinate the organization's logistic and Operation function including the acquisition, warehousing, material management, and distribution to meet business requirements.

Supply Chain Management: Make sure a portfolio of major suppliers are delivering required levels of service, in line with the overall supplier management strategy.

Strategy Formation and Implementation: Develop tactical plans for optimizing resources and assets being managed within a given area or department. Supply Planning:
Execute planning activities within a defined framework/system with dependencies on other processes/units.

Continuous Improvement: Lead the review of existing operations and the implementation of innovation processes across the department or sub-function to ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered.

Leadership and Direction: Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the business area or department; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these tenets and do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.

Performance Management: Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team/personal objectives.

Budgeting: Deliver a budget for an area of the organization or conduct complex analyses on budget progress in other areas of the organization.

Operations Management: Oversee an operational area with guidance from senior colleagues. Could involve responsibility for development or delivery (or both).

Team Management: Manage a team so that team members are supported and enabled to deliver their roles according to expected standards. Includes leading in the areas of recruitment and performance management, coaching team members, and identifying development needs.

Strategic Analysis: Interpret the strategic need and identify solution recommendations to strategic challenges at a business unit level. Analyze financial and operational data, market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics to support strategic decision making within the business unit.

Operational Compliance: Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards. Or identify, within the team, patterns of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.

Contract Management: Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within an established contract management plan.
