Mould Team Leader

• Plan, assign, and monitor daily tasks for the mould fabrication and repair team.
• Supervise and guide team members to meet quality, safety, and schedule targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and training to develop skills.

• Oversee fabrication of new mould components and repair of existing moulds.
• Ensure all moulds meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

• Review mould drawings, specifications, and job instructions.
• Inspect finished moulds and components for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.

• Manage tooling, materials, and consumables inventory in collaboration with stores.
• Ensure availability of required resources for uninterrupted team operations.

• Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and PPE usage.
• Conduct safety meetings and promote a clean, hazard-free workplace.

• Maintain records of mould fabrication, repairs, team attendance, and productivity.
• Prepare reports on team performance, machine status, and job completion.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in mould fabrication and repair.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance mould design and life.

• Minimum 5-7 years in mould fabrication or maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in plastic moulding industries preferred.
