Refinery Operator; Edible oil

Job Summary:

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Refinery Field Operator to join their team in Jeddah. The Refinery Field Operator will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the operations of the refinery, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Continuous vigilant in the plant field by taking routine round
• Note down field reading for cross check with DCS operation (LT/FT/PT/PG/Nitrogen dosing)
• Continually monitor and evaluate all refinement equipment, rotating machinery, and the quality of oil to ensure standards and effective production
• Ability to check critical inventories of each item, oil and chemical, and proper documentation ability
• Ensuring strict compliances with safety procedure, work permit procedure before job handover to maintenance
• Awareness of each product, bulk brands specification for blending product.
• Routine inspection of chemical, soap stock, gums, fat trap position to avoid any abnormal breakdown
• To monitor proper additive and chemical handling procedure to avoid any operation error

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Refinery Field Operator in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of refinery processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
