Powerhouse Technician: Operations & Maintenance Pro

Our client, a specialized food manufacturing company with expertise in sugar production, is actively looking for an Powerhouse Technician to join their team in Jeddah.

Key Accountabilities:

• Shift hand over- explaining the status of all machines & equipments related to power house and what follow ups to be done if any.
• Utility Shift Task Force Shop floor meeting.
• communications including emails, whats up and calls.
• Physical Monitoring the water treatment area including Desalination units, Cooling tower, Demin units, Neutralization pit, Chemical dosing area ETP plant and LAC/Diesel unloading area checking all parameters, filling Log Sheets, Recording Chemical Tank Levels and Carries out a stock take of Chemicals.
• Routine checkup of Diesel transfer pumps, Diesel tank level and LPG tank level and
• Report all fuels stocks (LAC, Diesel, and LPG).
• Perform Site Activities including Moisture drain out from Air Drums, and Diesel transferring to other areas.
• Completes an end of shift report and carries out an effective communication & handover exchange with the incoming operator in the work area.
• Completes an end of shift report and carries out an effective communication & handover exchange with the incoming Water treatment technician in the work area.
• Collecting samples for Veolia analysis.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certification in Power Plant Operations or related field.
• Previous experience in operating and maintaining powerhouse equipment.
• Knowledge of powerhouse systems, boilers, turbines, and generators.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
