Production Operations & Efficiency

Oversee daily production schedules, ensuring timely execution of processing, packaging, and dispatch of protein products.

Monitor line performance (yields, downtime, throughput) and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency.

Coordinate with planning, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end production flow.

Team Leadership

Supervise, mentor, and coach production operators, packers, and machine operators.

Manage shift rosters, assign tasks, and ensure adequate staffing for each production zone.

Lead pre‑shift meetings to communicate daily goals, safety tips, and key updates.

Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance & Food Safety

Ensure production meets company standards for quality, hygiene, and consistency.

Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards specific to protein processing.

Support QA and regulatory inspections, and lead internal audits when required.

Manage proper sanitation procedures, allergen controls, and cold chain integrity.

Health & Safety

Enforce workplace safety policies in compliance with OSHA, food safety authorities, and internal protocols.

Conduct regular safety walks and participate in incident investigations and risk assessments.

Promote awareness of safe handling practices for raw protein materials and heavy operating equipment.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate production records, including yield reports, batch traceability, wastage, and downtime logs.

Report performance metrics (OEE, labor efficiency, product loss) to senior leadership.

Ensure all documentation is audit‑ready and up‑to‑date, including SOPs and training records.

Continuous Improvement

Participate in Lean, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs.

Identify process bottlenecks, analyze production data and identify areas for improvement in equipment utilization, labor efficiency, and waste control.

Support plant‑level initiatives related to automation and digital transformation.

Compliance with costing

Ensure that product costing complies with the standards set per BOMs, rectifying the variance or bias that can happen with contribution role for MUV optimization process.

Business acumen

Have a key role in different strategic decisions as benchmarking, product portfolio expansion, BOM unification, and allocation across the cluster.
