Printing - Machine Operator

Job Purpose

To operate production machinery efficiently and safely to achieve daily production targets. The Machine Operator is responsible for machine setup, monitoring, basic maintenance, and ensuring products meet quality standards. Must be experienced in thermoforming processes and material behavior under heat.

• Set up and operate printing machines, including setting up printing plates, blankets, inks, mandrels, and molds.
• Adjust color registration, printing alignment, and understand CMYK color matching.
• Control ink flow and curing system.
• Troubleshoot machine issues to reduce downtime.
• Clean and maintain printing units and color heads.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including quality management systems such as ISO and BRC.

• High school diploma or technical certificate.
• Training in machine operation or industrial safety (preferred).

• 5 years of experience in machine operation within a manufacturing production environment, plastics preferred.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends as required by production schedules.

• Ability to work with plastic substrates such as PET, PP, and PS.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, specifications, and quality control documents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding and adjustment of machine controls and parameters.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and document production data.
