Mixer Operator

About the Role

Neproplast is seeking an experienced Mixing Operator to join our Plastic Pipes Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and mixing raw materials used in the production of plastic pipes, ensuring compliance with production specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational efficiency targets.

• Operate and monitor mixing equipment used in plastic pipe manufacturing operations.
• Prepare raw material batches according to approved formulations, production plans, and work instructions.
• Ensure proper weighing, dosing, and mixing of polymers, additives, masterbatch, stabilizers, and other raw materials.
• Verify that all mixed materials meet the required quality standards before release to production.
• Monitor mixing parameters and adjust operating conditions to achieve consistent product quality.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and report any material, process, or equipment abnormalities.
• Take immediate corrective action in the event of process deviations or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of batch preparation, material consumption, and production activities.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, and traceability of raw materials and prepared batches.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness within the mixing area.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Assist in training and guiding junior operators and production laborers.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and material utilization.
• Support emergency and shutdown activities when required.
  
  Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

• High School Diploma or Technical Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in plastic pipes manufacturing, plastic compounding, polymer processing, extrusion, or related plastics industries.
• Experience handling HDPE, PPR, PVC, or other thermoplastic raw materials.
• Knowledge of raw material preparation, blending, and mixing processes.
• Ability to understand production specifications and batch formulations.
• Basic knowledge of quality requirements within plastics manufacturing.
• Strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts.

• Experience in HDPE, PPR, or PVC pipe manufacturing plants.
• Knowledge of masterbatch and additive dosing systems.
• Experience with automated mixing and material conveying systems.
• Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement practices.
• First Aid, Fire Fighting, and Emergency Response training is an advantage.
