Tube Tool management op; Production

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of tube tooling from procurement and calibration to maintenance and disposal, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
• Develop and implement rigorous inspection and testing protocols to verify tool accuracy, integrity, and compliance with production specifications.
• Manage the inventory of all tube tooling, including tracking usage, wear patterns, and scheduling preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to understand tooling needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and product quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in tool management, preferably within the metal tube manufacturing or fabrication industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software for tool design review and analysis, and experience with ERP/MRP systems for inventory control.
• Certified in relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO) and possess a strong understanding of metrology and precision measurement techniques.
• Must have experience in pipe and stainless steel manufacturing companies.
