Responsibilities

Oversee the entire lifecycle of tube tooling from procurement and calibration to maintenance and disposal, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
Develop and implement rigorous inspection and testing protocols to verify tool accuracy, integrity, and compliance with production specifications.
Manage the inventory of all tube tooling, including tracking usage, wear patterns, and scheduling preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Collaborate closely with the production team to understand tooling needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in tool management, preferably within the metal tube manufacturing or fabrication industry.
Proficiency in CAD software for tool design review and analysis, and experience with ERP/MRP systems for inventory control.
Certified in relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO) and possess a strong understanding of metrology and precision measurement techniques.
Must have experience in pipe and stainless steel manufacturing companies.
