Job Title: General Manager – PVC Pipes Manufacturing
Job SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for leading the overall operations and strategic direction of the PVC pipes manufacturing business. The role oversees production, engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, finance, sales, and human resources to achieve operational excellence, sustainable growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the company's strategic business plan and annual operating objectives.
- Lead all manufacturing operations to maximize productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining high product quality and minimizing waste.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and full P&L accountability.
- Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Optimize procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain performance.
- Drive business development initiatives and expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead recruitment, performance management, and employee development.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, cost reduction, and operational improvements.
- Prepare regular management reports and present business performance to senior leadership and shareholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the PVC Pipes, Plastic Extrusion, Polymer, or Building Materials industry
