The Back End Operator at CROWN KSA is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of back-end machinery and equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality products.
Job Responsibilities- Operate and monitor back-end production machinery, including but not limited to can fillers, seamers, and palletizers, according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular quality checks on finished products, identifying and addressing any defects or non-conformities.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain optimal production speeds and product quality.
- Load and unload materials and products from machinery, ensuring proper material handling and storage.
- Complete production logs and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with machine operation.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
