Middle East Mattress Factory Co. (licencee of Sealy Inc. USA) is seeking a results-driven Production / Operations Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing workflows at our plant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
. This role is vital for maintaining high quality, safety standards, and peak manufacturing efficiency across our premium bedding lines.
The Operations Supervisor will manage day-to-day manufacturing floor operations, coordinate multi-cultural production crews, and leverage ERP infrastructure to hit daily targets. The ideal candidate brings an engineering mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and specialized experience in manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Floor Supervision: Coordinate, assign daily shifts, and monitor technicians and line operators to safely achieve production quotas.
- Workflow Optimization: Manage operational directives on the floor to maximize machinery output (e.g., automated sewing, pocket spring lines, tape-edge machines).
- System Tracking: Utilize Odoo ERP (Manufacturing and Inventory modules) to trace materials, process logs, and track shift performance metrics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with maintenance, procurement, and logistics teams to mitigate raw material shortages and plan scheduled downtime.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Uphold stringent safety protocols and corporate quality benchmarks across all production lines.
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering).
- Experience:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant environment (bedding, mattress, or specialized high-volume textile production preferred). - ERP & Technical
Skills:
Operational proficiency using Odoo ERP software modules along with strong mechanical/industrial problem-solving capabilities. - Language
Skills:
Professional fluency in written and spoken English is strictly required to lead a diverse workforce. Conversational command of Arabic or Hindi is a strong advantage for floor communication.
- Location: Must currently reside in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (On-Site role).
