Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day to day activities and operations of the quality staff.
• Typical activities include checking, testing, and inspecting the raw materials used for production, work in progress goods, and finished products.
• Prepare quality reports and check inventory to ensure resources needed to meet production requirements are available.
• Work with managers to establish and maintain the quality management system.
• Set and achieve daily operational objectives that have some impact on others within the job area.
• Correct or resolve issues or problems in existing systems and processes. Make minor changes.
• Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to primarily others internally.
• Use influence to convince primarily others internally where strong interest exists to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.

• University degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelors Degree, 1 Year.
• Evaluated in context of the standard size.
• Broader knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.
• Manages less than three team members, or leads an indirect team which may be of substantive size.
• Application of knowledge is narrow (domestic) and limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar culture.
