How you ll make an impact
Supporting the preparation of the quality section of the offer, including the Project Quality Plan, applicable standard inspection and test programs, and other quality-related documents. Provide feedback on the quality section of the client specification and required deviations from the customer to the tender.
Register quality risks in the risk register based on analysis, ensure mitigations are identified and followed up, and ensure that negotiation results related to quality are documented and the corresponding impact on the tender is considered.
Review and distribute all applicable regulations, codes, and standards related to quality; prepare a quality budget proposal for resources and costs for approval, and apply lessons learned from previous projects, documenting them for future use.
Participate in project kick‑off meetings to ensure that the project quality plan, inspection and test program, and all quality requirements are communicated and implemented. Serve as the point of contact and interface with the customer on test coordination and project quality issues.
Develop, implement, and follow up the quality management system (QMS) for the project in the form of the Project Quality Plan (PQP). The PQP shall be based on HVDC IMS, in addition to specific project procedures. Deviations to IMS processes and documents are discussed and risks are registered within the project deviation database.
Drive a quality culture, including quality assurance, quality control, and compliance with local codes, standards, law, and regulations. Develop and implement a project quality audit schedule as per customer requirements and internal business and QMS requirements.
Communicate the inspection and test program (ITP) to the client in a timely manner, in line with project schedule deliverables.
Responsible for creating, communicating, and following up the master ITP register based on input from various functions.
Identify work-and-hold and notification requirements in contract review, coordinate, send witnessing notifications, and follow up to ensure compliance.
Coordinate inspection activities for suppliers in collaboration with the Supply Chain function, and for site inspections in collaboration with the site team.
Work with the Project Team to ensure adequate Quality Control expertise is available at the appropriate project delivery points (Supply Chain, construction, commissioning, handover).
Provide input to project reviews and ensure quality aspects are covered.
Ensure supplier quality documentation meets both contract and Hitachi Energy requirements, archive quality documentation, and transfer it to Services if applicable. Transfer the Project Quality documentation to the customer as per project contract requirements and ensure local quality requirements for the scope of project supply are implemented and followed.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field is required. Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
