Job Description Job Summary
The Quality Inspector II at CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections throughout the production process to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
Job Responsibilities- Perform in-process and final inspections of aluminum beverage cans according to established specifications, blueprints, and quality control procedures.
- Utilize various measuring tools and equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and vision systems, to verify product dimensions and characteristics.
- Identify and document non-conforming products, initiate corrective action requests, and follow up on their resolution.
- Conduct visual inspections for cosmetic defects, print quality, and overall product integrity.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records and reports.
- Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and participate in problem-solving activities.
- Collaborate with production personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and provide feedback on quality-related issues.
- Monitor and verify the calibration status of inspection equipment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in can manufacturing or a related industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
- Experience with various measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to identify and document defects accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
