QC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials fabricated components and finished products to ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications and quality standards.
• Perform dimensional inspections including alignment straightness hole locations fit-up and overall fabrication accuracy.
• Verify fabrication processes such as cutting drilling punching bending and welding where applicable.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports travel cards and Non-Conformance Reports NCRs.
• Coordinate with fabrication supervisors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper identification marking and traceability of fabricated components.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and maintain accurate QC documentation.
• Monitor the calibration status of measuring and inspection equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environmental HSE policies during all inspection activities.
• Support continuous quality improvement by identifying defects and recommending preventive actions.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Tower Fabrication or Heavy Steel Structures Quality Control.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication drawings, quality inspection procedures, and relevant industry standards.
• Hands‑on experience with dimensional inspection and measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and gauges.
• Familiar with fabrication processes including cutting drilling punching bending and welding inspection.
• Experience in preparing inspection reports, travel cards, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Good communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Committed to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced fabrication/manufacturing environment.
