Security Clearance
U.S. citizenship is required. An active U.S. government‑issued Secret clearance is required on day
1.
- Calibrate and repair electronic test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment covered under the approved TAA.
- Train laboratory and site personnel on new equipment as needed.
- Develop and implement new calibration procedures and methods for newly acquired equipment.
- Perform precision calibration of state‑of‑the‑art electronic equipment.
- Design test jigs, fixtures, and special setups for calibration of special‑purpose equipment.
- Provide on‑the‑job training (OJT) for technicians in electronic theory and calibration procedures.
- Make site visits for training, evaluation, and technical assistance.
- Assist the section officer in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the section officer.
- Strong background in digital electronics and RF/microwave.
- Minimum of 4 years experience calibrating electronic equipment.
- Deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles.
- Meticulous work with strict adherence to procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in using computers and related software.
- Maintained U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret).
- Familiarity with various measuring equipment and their calibration requirements.
- Strong foundation in mathematics for calculations and data interpretation.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of related experience.
- Associate’s Degree with 8 years of experience.
- High school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience.
USD 86,800 – 165,200, depending on experience and qualifications.
