Your

future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in quality assurance and rolling stock activities in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and solution‑driven team, committed to excellence and innovation.

You’ll specifically take care of maintaining the Quality System in line with the Alstom Quality Plan and contractual requirements, but also support the Quality Manager in monitoring quality targets and resolving quality issues.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Quality System and ensure its strict application on‑site.
  • Support teams to secure compliance with contractual technical requirements for rolling stock upgrades.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on quality issues, site inspections, and incoming material inspections.
  • Prepare and verify quality records and checklists for each rolling stock step.
  • Perform retrofit inspections and prepare inspection and test requests for site activities.
  • Follow up on and resolve internal site non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and associated CONQ.
  • Interact with supplier quality teams and manage supplier NCRs.
  • Prepare and update registers for inspection testing requests, non‑conformance reports, and calibration tests.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns promptly with appropriate feedback.
  • Contribute to the implementation and follow‑up of the Power Master Punch List (MPL) and ensure readiness for DFQ processes.
All about you
  • Engineering or university degree, preferably in Electromechanical Engineering.
  • Experience or understanding of rolling stock activities and special processes such as torquing, crimping, riveting, and gluing.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and problem‑solving tools.
  • Familiarity with Excel tools for reporting and tracking purposes.
  • A team spirit approach with strong organisational and reactive skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to guide, influence, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Resilience, commitment, and a persuasive mindset to address challenges proactively.
Things you’ll enjoy
  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long‑term career free from boring daily routines.
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and supportive colleagues.
  • Contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of mobility.
  • Utilise our inclusive and dynamic working environment.
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award‑winning learning opportunities.
  • Progress towards roles such as Quality Manager or other leadership positions.
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance.

We don’t need you to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
