Qualification- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Manage and support mechanical Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities.
- Conduct and supervise mechanical inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and approved procedures.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes, US standards, and project-specific quality requirements.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
- Monitor contractors' inspection activities and evaluate the quality of their reports.
- Review material inspection, testing procedures, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project management, purchasing, contractors, and inspection teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Identify non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and documentation for project audits.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members on quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Ensure compliance with project contractual quality requirements, including Schedule Q and applicable WER quality and inspection requirements.
- Strong experience in mechanical QA/QC, quality inspections, and Quality Management Systems.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering standards, material testing, and inspection methods.
- Ability to review technical documents, identify quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
