Senior Research Associate

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

The Senior Research Associate supports the successful delivery of S-Cube's research activities across multiple projects. This role contributes to the design and execution of rigorous qualitative and quantitative research, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and insight development. The Senior Research Associate works closely with the Research Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure that all research outputs are accurate, high-quality, and aligned with the S-Cube Methodology.

• Support the development of research frameworks, study designs, and methodologies.
• Assist in creating data collection tools such as surveys, interview guides, and focus group protocols.
• Conduct literature reviews, benchmarking studies, and background research.
• Ensure all research activities follow ethical and quality standards.

• Conduct desk research, interviews, focus groups, field visits, and surveys.
• Support sampling, recruitment of participants, and scheduling of research activities.
• Clean, organize, and manage datasets in coordination with the Research Manager.
• Maintain accurate documentation and research records.

• Conduct quantitative analysis using statistical software (Excel, SPSS, Stata, R, etc.).
• Conduct qualitative analysis including coding, thematic analysis, and synthesis of insights.
• Triangulate findings across multiple data sources.
• Identify patterns, trends, and evidence-based insights.

• Draft research reports, insight briefs, case studies, and documentation of findings.
• Prepare data visualizations, charts, and dashboards that communicate results clearly.
• Develop presentations and client-ready materials summarizing key insights.
• Contribute to internal knowledge products and thought leadership pieces.

• Work closely with Design and Programs teams to translate research into practical solutions.
• Support the research components of proposals, pitches, and business development efforts.
• Participate in internal learning sessions and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all research outputs.
• Follow S-Cube's internal quality processes and documentation standards.
• Support the Research Manager in maintaining consistency across all research deliverables.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Economics, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in applied research, consulting, evaluation, or data analysis.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
• Ability to prepare clear, structured reports and presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data analysis tools preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Preferably Saudi National.
