Responsibilities
  • Maximize sales volume, minimize stales, achieve distribution targets, implement merchandising standards, collect accounts receivable, and maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Provide latest market information to supervisor for developing sales opportunities.
  • Attend training courses designed to improve professionalism and customer service.
  • Complete a daily debriefing with supervisor.
  • Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers; sales measured against agreed targets.
  • Maintain the sales vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, perform daily and weekly vehicle checks, and report defects or damage.
  • Supply ready to ship customer orders on time and maintain individual customer stock levels.
  • Implement in store merchandising communicated by supervisor.
  • Advise on competitor activity, perform daily reconciliation of cash, cheques, and credit sales.
  • Maintain neat grooming, presentability, and high standard of driving.
Qualifications
  • Diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in sales and account building.
  • Communication, negotiation, conflict management, and sales planning skills.
  • Basic accounting skills.
