RISE TO THE CHALLENGEPhilip Morris KSA Trading Company is looking for a Territory Supervisor to join the team. As a Territory Supervisor, you will be part of the Commercial team, reporting to the Regional Manager. This position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Territory Supervisor responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for multiple product categories, ensuring growth in each category.
- Monitor and analyze category performance, identify opportunities for growth, and take corrective actions to meet targets.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure optimal product placement, availability, and promotion effectiveness.
- Manage sales and distribution activities across the territory (Wholesale, Key Accounts, General Trade).
- Tailor sales strategies for each channel and build strong relationships with stakeholders to maximize product penetration.
- Oversee trade marketing and promotional activities, adapting strategies to channel requirements.
- Ensure efficient distribution, optimize stock levels, and minimize out‑of‑stock situations.
- Monitor distributor performance, enforce service level agreements, and provide training and support.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with distribution and merchandising standards.
- Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns and commercial activities for all product categories and sales channels.
- Gather feedback on commercial activities and provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
- Work closely with distributor sales teams to align efforts with company objectives and provide support for sales targets.
- Coach and train direct teams and distributor sales teams to enhance productivity.
- Monitor distributor performance and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on sales performance, category growth, market trends, and competitive activities.
- Analyze sales data to forecast trends and make informed decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to regional management on improving sales performance.
- Share periodical progress reports on commercial activity implementation.

Experience:
3–5 years in commercial roles focused on multi‑category management and channel sales. - Industry Background:
Proven experience in managing distributor relationships and collaborating with sales teams within the FMCG or tobacco sectors, preferably with a leading multinational company. - Languages:
Excellent command of English and Arabic. - Local Market Knowledge:
In‑depth knowledge of the Saudi market and retail/distribution dynamics (preferred). - Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and sales analysis tools. - Interpersonal & Leadership
Skills:
Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities. - Travel Flexibility:
Open to frequent travel within the assigned territory.
