JOB PURPOSE
To ensure safe and secure terminal operations and 24x7 coverage of security in line with local and business unit security commands and regulations.
KEYACCOUNTABILITIES
- Supervise and direct security guards and daily security operations.
- Prepare shift schedules and manage attendance and rostering.
- Ensure compliance with ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, and local security requirements.
- Train and guide security guards on duties and security procedures.
- Oversee access control, CCTV, patrols, vehicle/personnel searches, and security zones.
- Monitor and report security incidents, near misses, and emergencies.
- Coordinate with Port Authorities, Coast Guard, Police, Intelligence, and other agencies.
- Maintain visitor, contractor, and security records.
- Support investigations of security incidents, accidents, and security breaches.
- Manage security control room operations and communications.
- Ensure security standards are maintained across DPW Jeddah premises.
- Colleague Diploma / University degree security / HSE management
- Experience in a Container Terminal is preferred.
- Ability to read, write Arabic and English.
- Internal security clearance file
