HVAC Maintenance Technician

Perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair & installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems and all related equipment.

• Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, condensers, blowers, dampers …
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of air conditioning equipment, and make necessary adjustments or repairs such as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, or changing filters.
• Repair or replace defective parts in AC units and equipment in emergencies if necessary.
• Install duct work & carrying out insulation works of HVAC ducts using insulation materials types.
• Maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition; maintain spare parts and tool inventory.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair and maintenance of HVAC system as needed.
• Trouble shooting and resolving problems of package PCB cards and controls.
• Install, rebuild, replace or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets and other equipment as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel to job sites in service area.

• Standard practices of the HVAC and refrigeration trade.
• Ability to read & use manuals, materials, methods and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair and maintenance of air conditioning systems and related equipment.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Work cooperatively with others and ability to work independently with little direction.
• Meet schedules and time lines.
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.

• High school diploma
• 4+ year experience in HVAC maintenance and repair in the HVAC and refrigeration trade.
