The Carpenter is responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of all aspects of hotel woodwork, ensuring the quality of work conforms with standards.
Responsibilities- Attend to all types of construction, repair, and maintenance work required of the hotel woodwork, furniture, and fixtures.
- Construct, repair, and maintain aspects of hotel woodwork ensuring quality standards are met.
- Ensure all tools and workshop equipment are functioning properly.
- Perform all responsibilities to the standards of performance as detailed in the Departmental Operations Manual.
- Interact with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
- Complete repairs as detailed in the Repair and Maintenance Requests.
- Be environmentally friendly, reduce waste, recycle when possible, and reduce whenever applicable.
- Previous experience as a Carpenter for a minimum of 4 years.
- Good knowledge of woodwork machinery utilization and maintenance.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Teamwork mindset.
- Physically fit.
