We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Industrial Production sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, maintenance, and repair, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our equipment and machinery. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations by diagnosing electrical issues, performing repairs, and completing routine maintenance tasks.

Your expertise will help minimize downtime and enhance productivity at our facility.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, utilising diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, motors, and control panels, to restore functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement and recommend upgrades or modifications to electrical systems.
  • Assist with the installation of new electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
    • Skills Preferred Candidate
  • Proven experience as an electrical maintenance technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components, with a focus on troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
