Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

To maintain furniture, trolleys, curtains, and other related Joinery equipment of hospital and staff accommodations.

• Carry out the maintenance works of carpentry by obeying seniority orders.
• Modification & installation of Gypsum partitions.
• Maintain and repair trolleys and squeezers.
• Repair the door lock, hasp lock, paddle lock, etc related to the doors & windows.
• Maintain steel & wooden window frames.
• Maintain& repair the ceiling.
• Any emergency and urgent matter must take immediate action.
• Must have focus monitoring and maintenance to all patient rooms to all buildings.
• Welding for stainless steel trolley including the carpenter equipment.
• Making hand rails and all protectors.
• Door modification and installation.
• Installation and repairing of electric magnetic lock related to electrical section.
• Installation of new 60 x 60 ceiling.
• Installation of new ceiling by solid gyps.
• Making the walls and ceiling by using gypsum board.
• Making master key project in AFIU, electrical, mechanical, patient, and pump rooms.
• Modification and installation of all kinds of lock.
• Repairing the patient's stretchers and wheel chairs.
• Maintain the curtain rods, drawers, cabinets, reclining chairs, sofa beds, and all types of doors in good condition.
• Follow the instructions given by the Senior Carpenter which is ordered by the Civil Works Unit Manager.
• Maintain his tools and test equipment levels.
• Maintain safe working practice codes

• Higher secondary technical certificate
• Minimum 5 years' experience in carpentry work
• Fluency in written & spoken English & Arabic
