Sports Nutritionist Trainee

The Sport Nutritionist Trainee supports the Sports Nutritionist and Performance Team in delivering evidence-based nutritional strategies that optimize athlete health, recovery, body composition, and performance. The role provides hand-on exposure to elite sport nutrition practices while developing practical and professional competencies under supervision.

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of nutrition plans for athletes across different age groups and teams.
• Support matchday and training nutrition operations
  , including hydration strategies, supplementation logistics, and meal timing.
• Help monitor body composition

  , and dietary intake
  , ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
• Participate in nutrition education sessions for athletes and staff under supervision.
• Assist with menu planning and coordination with catering partners to ensure meals meet performance and recovery needs.
• Support the preparation of nutritional reports

• Stay up to date with current sport nutrition research and apply best practices as directed by senior staff.
• Ensure compliance with anti-doping regulations

• Bachelor's Degree (or final-year student) in Nutrition, Dietetics, Sports Science (with nutrition focus) or any related field.
• Strong interest in sports performance and athlete development.
• Basic understanding of sports nutrition principles, hydration, and recovery.
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
