We are seeking a full-time Management Trainee - Agency Officer , Saudi National to join our team on-site in Jeddah who thrives on ownership.
You are the bridge between our global standards and daily execution. Your mission is to inspire the team to achieve peak performance while personally managing the critical relationships that sustain our business by developing strong communication channels with partners and stakeholders. Responsibilities -- Operational Accountability: You own the "final mile" You stay on the frontline to ensure cargo movements, documentation, and clearances are executed with precision. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of shipments, ensuring compliance with both local regulations and international freight standards.
- Team Performance & KPI Management: You drive the team to meet daily targets through active leadership. This involves monitoring workflow bottlenecks, utilizing systems to track progress, and collaborate with the GM to implement performance-linked rewards or corrective action plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement: You serve as the primary liaison for airlines, international agents, and government authorities. In due course, you are expected to lead structured quarterly reviews, negotiate service levels, and resolve complex escalations to maintain our reputation as a "Partner of Choice."
- On-Ground Authority Liaison: As our "Boots on the Ground," you will navigate government portals and provide physical leadership at stakeholder offices, project sites, seaports, or airport terminals to expedite success, clearances and/ or inspections as required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- 1 - 2 years experience, knowledge of logistics operations, incoterms, air cargo exports and imports, budgeting, and program management to assist in planning and operational tasks.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, monitor trends, and support decision-making processes.
- Ability to handle high pressure situations, adapt and thrive in a fast-paced logistics and supply chain environment, managing internal / external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required aside from excellent Arabic.
