Job Summary:We are looking for a proactive Operations Executive to manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations and ensure smooth execution of import and export shipments for Clarion's Saudi Arabia operations. The role focuses on operational coordination, documentation compliance, and timely logistics service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate end-to-end import and export shipments across Air, Sea, and Land freight.
- Arrange bookings with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Monitor shipment movement and ensure timely cargo pickup, transit, and delivery.
- Prepare, verify, and manage shipping documentation including Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Orders, and customs-related documents.
- Coordinate with clearing agents for customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain regular communication with customers, vendors, and overseas partners regarding shipment status and operational updates.
- Track shipment milestones and update data accurately in ERP/operational systems.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, operational procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Handle operational queries, delays, and exceptions with timely resolution.
- Verify vendor invoices and coordinate with Accounts for billing and invoicing processes.
- Maintain shipment records, operational files, and documentation archives.
- Support cost control by monitoring operational expenses and shipment profitability.
- Prepare operational reports, shipment summaries, and performance updates as required.
- Coordinate internally with Sales, Documentation, Transport, and Finance teams for seamless operations.
- Ensure high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of international trade practices, Incoterms, and freight forwarding procedures preferred.
- Proficiency in English communication (written and verbal) is essential
