AboutThe Role
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods across the facility. You will lead warehouse teams, drive inventory accuracy, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing warehouse performance, ensuring compliance with Kerry's quality, food safety, and health & safety standards, while supporting business objectives through effective resource planning and team management.
Keyresponsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure proper receipt, storage, and handling of raw materials in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to optimize space utilization.
- Prepare and analyze reports on inventory, stock movements, and operational performance.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory and address any operational issues.
- Train and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high levels of performance and compliance with company standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery when necessary.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience of warehousing with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in inventory management
- SAP experience is a must
- Leadership experience
- High level of computer literacy, to include MS Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
- Good communication skills in English
