Program Assistant

The Family Support Division (FSD), Office of Workforce and Community Initiatives (OWCI) is seeking candidates to fill a Program Assistant position located in Cole County based at 3705 MO Blvd., Jefferson City, MO.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the training inbox;
• Managing the LMS Cornerstone and MOVERS;
• Scheduling in-person and virtual classes;
• Assigning FNA numbers to provider staff following trainings;
• Updating the OWCI Provider Portal;
• Creating online surveys, reviews, and knowledge checks;
• Assisting the Training Unit with maintaining current program policies and procedures;
• Supporting the review and revision of training materials;
• Providing general assistance to Trainers and Program staff as needed.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following:
Public or Business Administration, Sociology, Psychology, Information Technology or a closely related field.
OR

Four or more years of administrative support in social work, case management, staff training, information technology or closely related areas, including two or more years in a supervisory or semi-technical capacity (at or above the level of a Administrative Support Assistant, Account Clerk II, Customer Support Technician or Customer Service Representative);
and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.

Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
