This piece‑work detail shop position gives you the opportunity to use manual dexterity and coordination to wash, wax, bottle and buff vehicle exteriors, vacuum interiors, clean upholstery, use air compressors to dry surfaces, and apply preservation chemicals. Additional duties such as engine cleaning, paint touch‑ups, and other tasks will be assigned as needed.

• Wash and detail the exterior of vehicles using appropriate cleaning solutions.
• Wax and buff vehicles with cloths or buffing machines.
• Vacuum the interior to remove dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery and interior surfaces.
• Use air compressors and cloths for drying and applying preservation chemicals.
• Perform paint and wax applications on leather or fabric surfaces.
• Clean and remove grease from engine compartments.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and high‑quality service standards.

• Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and squatting during the shift.
• Work outdoors and under varying climate conditions as required.
• Move and work with numerous vehicles throughout the day.
• Use OSHA‑approved waxes and cleaners (e.g., window cleaner, tar remover, tire shine).
• Frequent flexing of spine, hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Constant verbal communication of detailed information.
• Clear vision and hearing required.
• Identify small imperfections and perform quality inspections of own and team work.
• Work with urgency to meet customer time expectations.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.

• Minimum 1 year of detailing experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Quick learning ability.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Respectful attitude toward customers’ vehicles.
• Reliability: punctual arrival, focused during shifts.
• Capability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed.

Piece‑work pay (hourly rates and bonuses based on output; typical range $15.00–$17.00, with potential to earn $18.00–$31.00 for certain assignments).
