** How You’ll Make an Impact
*** Manage end-to-end purchasing for direct materials and factory services.
* Ensure timely material availability to meet production schedules.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional suppliers.
* Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs.
* Monitor supplier performance and lead audits when needed.
* Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing.
* Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for purchase order management and reporting.
* Lead and develop a team of buyers and analysts to achieve factory goals.
* Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
** Your Background
*** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
* 8+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of direct material sourcing and MRP systems.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Preferred certifications: CPP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma.
