## Safety Coordinator-Railroad, Bridge & Structures### Build Safety. Protect People. Support Critical Infrastructure.

We are seeking an experienced
** Safety Coordinator
** to support railroad, bridge, and structural construction projects. This position works directly with field leadership and crews to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and help deliver projects safely and efficiently.###

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, railroad, and company safety requirements.
* Support work activities within active railroad rights-of-way.
* Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and employee training.
* Assist with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), pre-task planning, and safety documentation.
* Monitor fall protection, crane operations, excavation, rigging, and structural work activities.
* Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
* Partner with project managers, superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and railroad representatives to maintain safe operations.## Qualifications### Qualifications
* 2+ years of construction safety experience preferred but not required.
* Experience in railroad, bridge, structural steel, or heavy civil construction preferred.
* Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
* Experience conducting field safety inspections and incident investigations.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety reporting systems.### Preferred Certifications
* OSHA 30-Hour Construction
* First Aid/CPR/AED
* Fall Protection Competent Person
* Excavation Competent Person
* Railroad safety certifications (RWIC, COSS, or equivalent)
* CHST, ASP, or CSP preferred
